Thumbs up. I enjoyed the writing and the set up of this. Very cerebral.  Emphasis on mystery, which I also enjoyed.

I didn’t like the cadence of the writing at first, but it won me over quickly.  I got very drawn into the story.  Never read a plot quite like it!  I liked how the chapters were designated.

I liked the characters’ dynamics.  I liked the statement being made about the environmental issues in the book.

Rarely am I shocked in a book!  Unsatisfying ending.

I liked the book.

Thumbs up. My favorite book we read all year.

Not a fan of the characters or revenge part.  Lots of jumping around.

I really liked it.  Fast read.  Enjoyed the tension and family drama.  Some parts confusing but overall I liked it.
