Loved this book. Really clever. I liked the dialogue, and sarcasm. There was a great “hook” in the beginning. Really liked how Leo slowly becomes more diabolical. The dialogue was strong througout. MY only complaint is there were too many coincidences.

Annoying. I kept thinking I’d put it down but I did keep reading it. Everything came to easily. Why was it necessary to make Freddie Australian? Why set it in Boston? I couldn’t keep the male characters straight.

Wonderful! It made my head hurt–I had to write down all the characters to keep them straight. I like books like this that are puzzles.

I did not like this book. Not a realistic depiction of females.

A bit too much ambiguity in the structure. Way too clever—but it did grow on me. Action/pacing pretty strong. Mystery itself was okay.

I enjoyed it until about half way through. I didn’t like the stalkers behavior. I could visualize the characters. I found the mystery obvious.

I did not like the book. Too slow to start. Really disliked all the emails after each chapter. Leo was SO creepy. Overall mystery was just okay. Ending was disappointing.

The story wasn’t consistant along the timeline. The North Carolina aspect didn’t make sense and was too coincidental. None of the women characters acted like women I know. Everyone was a genious but no one was studying. I did like the writing style and the narrative and the letters. Lots of cool characters. Didn’t reach its potential.

I listened to the audio and it was hard to keep track of the characters. I loved the letters in between the chapters and the novel within the novel. Lots of branches of the story that never went anywhere.

The nesting of the three different stories was interesting but clumsy. I had trouble figuring out where to be invested in the story. I liked the group of people bonded together over the experience in the library. It had potential but fell flat.

I liked the book. It was fun to see how the gang of characters interacted. Female characters not realistic.

Enjoyable but hard to know what story line to be invested in.

A whole bunch of crazy!
