This should have been a quick read but it took me 2 weeks. I kept falling asleep reading it. Tiring characters.

Goofy; characters were like paper dolls. Why did I read it? Nothing redeeming.

Strange. Bizarre book that didn’t catch my attention. Couldn’t tell the characters apart.

I listened to the audio book. I liked that there were older women characters who were not infantilized. I also liked that the main characters were gay.

The premise was good. There were undercurrents of darkness. Some depth to the characters. But super boring. What motivated the lead characters to solve the murder? Could have been better.

It was meant to be weird! Not realistic. Couldn’t tell Clementine or Margery apart for most of the book.

I hated this. I did like the two older lesbian woman and no romance which is typical of a cozy. So many characters with nothing to distinguish them from one another. Most of the characters were unlikeable.

I thought it was cute. I enjoyed the relationship between the older lesbian couple, which was nice to see.

This was everything I hate about British cozy mysteries.
