I am grateful for this author–I never read her before. Really liked it. Good continuation of the first in series. Liked how the relationships developed. Loved seeing Cal’s progress in the small town. Liked how the story unfolded. Beautiful writer.

Audio book very good. Narrator does a great job. Good continuation from first in series.

I liked it. Slow burn. Writing really good. Great sense of place. Mystery slightly disappointing. Long book but quick read.

I hated this book. Couldn’t finish it. It was a slog.

Shouldn’t have to wait until page 300 fora murder! She’s a great writer so I’ll still rate it high.
