Too much about how TV shows work. Some of the dialogue was interesting. I liked the mystery. Basically a cozy except for the second death.

Didn’t finish it. Very rare for me but could not get into it. Just didn’t care. I got the convention he was using, inserting himself, etc. But give me something…characters, humor, setting, mystery…

Timeline didn’t make any sense. Hard to get through him yammering on about himself.

I really liked it. Yeah, he was an idiot. I thought it was funny. Though the mystery was good. Twist was good. Liked that they were both jerks in a way. Detective very clever. Funny.

Made me believe that Horowitz was involved. Yes–time line problem. Humor. Liked characters. Good mystery. I could see what he was describing.

Entertaining. I liked the plot.

I liked the narrator on the audio version. Enjoyed it. Didn’t see the twist.

I really enjoyed the book. He is likening himself to Watson. Wasn’t able to solve the mystery.

Mystery annoyed me. The heavy handed misdirection was annoying. But I could tell something was going on. Not enough to actually solve. Felt very British. Obviously playing with self and identity.

Really enjoyed the mystery. Killer stayed hidden. Liked the setup of author/detective. Found Hawthorn too unlikeable, Hopkins and Hawthorn annoying each other tiring.
