What ís the first mystery you remember reading?
Gosh, hard to say, but I think probably a short story – the Speckled Band by Arthur Conan Doyle. My mum read it to me and my sister as a bedtime story when I was about 9 and I had horrific nightmares! I think she regretted her choice, but it started me off on a long Sherlock Holmes jag.
What is the latest mystery you’ve read?
The Chalk Man by CJ Tudor. It’s excellent – very Stephen King.
What are you reading now?
Her One Mistake by Heidi Perks – this is not out until next year, one of the nice things about being a writer is getting sent advance copies!
