I liked that there was a reason for Siobhan to be involved in the mystery.

Quadruple bluff!

I would have liked to see more of the family involved.

Locked room mysteries can be really frustrating.

Like how the family and townspeople continue to show up in this series.

The ages of the characters don’t make sense to me. Inconsistent.

I had issues keeping everything straight.

Felt very full. The Mystery had depth, twists and turns.

No hook, nothing special. People didn’t have a lot of depth.

Characters were cozy and charming.

Author could have developed the characters more. There is potential.

Convoluted.

Very typical, quaint, quiet cozy mystery. The strength was in its coziness.

Setting and descriptions were strong by mystery doesn’t come through as prominent.

Honored the place and setting well. Writing good, not great.

Interesting without being overly cute.

I liked it because it wasn’t too deep or too quirky.

This was a low stakes cozy.
