I really loved that the author was the narrator. Quick wit. Laughing out loud. Loved the twist with the neighbor. Enjoyed the premise. Liked complex character and nuanced relationship with nephew. Enjoyed mystery. Pondered the deeper ideas too. Ending a bit too coincidental. Audio read too fast.
Fast read. Enjoyed it. Very funny.
End wrapped up too neatly. Wish Winnie was my neighbor. I was laughing out loud.
Took me a while to get into. She was so snarky. Dragged in the beginning. I knew it was supposed to be funny. Story did pick up and then enjoyable and amusing. Appreciated that she was doing a lot of growing.
Didn’t know what to make of it at first. Read and listened to it. Liked the author being the narrator in samoe way I heard how it was supposed to be heard but read too fast. Had a hard time getting into it. Miriam was not likeable despite the humor. Did like that character was nuanced. Loved Winnie. The relationship and world building is where the book shone.
I thought it was fun.
I liked it. Liked character growth. Reminded me of A Good Place. Appreciated Winnie.
Fun, fast read. Loved humor and wit. Humorously philosophical. World building was pretty cool.
Fun and funny.
