I enjoyed it but wish the home life stuff was removed.

Really interesting. Very good. Author writes really well. I liked the pacing. Lucy is so annoying!

I struggled with how dated it was. Didn’t enjoy it as much as when I used to read this series.

This was the first time I’ve read in this series. Reminds me of TV show Bones. I did like it.

It was history. Very dated. Mystery was ok. Had all the tropes.

Mixed feelings. Too gruesome for me. Couldn’t get through the initial descriptions. When I was finished I reflected and realized I had enjoyed it. I got a kick out of the dated computer stuff. I found the forensic science interesting.

I really liked it, but agree that is was too gruesome. I liked the characters. Liked the detecting and the procedural aspects.
