Really impressed with how he wrote. Warm and cozy every time I picked it up. Liked the characters and small town Ireland. Really liked it!
I liked the way it was written. Everyone “fit” in the neighborhood. I felt so sad for Mrs. Meany! Really enjoyed it. Felt pity for the sisters.
I really enjoyed it a lot. Loved the background.
More a romance than a mystery, drove me nuts. But I liked the twist about the body…Too much feuding between the two women in love with Tommy. Also didn’t like that we learned next to nothing about Tommy. It was obvious who did it. Did not like how author harped on how obese TJ was.
I really liked it! A really good book. Tragic characters. I liked Bree’s character. Very good contemporary mystery.
Reads like a BBC episodic mystery. Enough characters, back story and exposition to become a series.
Run of the mill. I enjoyed it, but wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. I was bothered by how grossly obese TJ was and how it was referred to again and again.
I liked the book. I was put off by the descriptions of TJ, but the character really developed. Quite an enjoyable read.
I liked TJ’s commentary-his snarky remarks!
I liked the book. I liked the relationship between the two cops.
