By Agatha Christie

Typical Agatha Christie. Simple cozy. Easy read. Bad guy gets caught.

Loved listening to it. Not really a Marple. Liked the brother/sister relationship. Good banter. Mystery a bit basic. Plot not mindblowing.

Not really a Marple. Liked sibling relationship.

I enjoyed this despite the audio. Light on Miss Marple.

I really liked it. Liked that is wasn’t a Marple. Liked the digging into secrets. A book of its time. Murder took a lot of planning.

Some parts are funny and I liked the setting. Disturbing to read it again as an older person and seeing how Jerry describes Megan.

Liked it. Liked the brother/sister perspective. Misogyny–but turned on its ear by playing on assumptions.

The stereotyping–yes. Interesting social commentary–seemed intentional.

Liked the banter, liked the writing. She gets her cast of people correct. Nice, easy read.

I typically don’t like Miss Marple so I liked this book!
