Think of a Number

I did not like how every woman had to be described, but I tried to cut him some slack. I did like the procedural aspects, but hate when detectives become involved in the mystery/thriller plot. Ruins the procedural aspect. I did like the crime and the forensic sergeant. I did not like the wrap up; it was not smooth. But I did like how it unfolded. Did not like the husband/wife dynamic.
It was a true puzzle; I really liked that. Very interesting and clever. Really focused on the mystery.
I really enjoyed the husband/wife dynamic. I appreciated her intelligence. I thought the mystery was a bit extreme but believable. I was along for the ride the whole time.
I was intrigued by the puzzle and weird elements. But very disappointed in the ending. The high tech solution bothered me.
I liked the detective and his analytic mind. Liked his wife. Slow to get going and could have been shorter. I liked the puzzle, but some of it too fantastic.
Locked room mystery-I liked it, but as they figured it out it was disappointing. Some of it not believable. Too many ideas incorporated–too much going on. Description of women by protagonist was weird.
Oh my goodness, the run on sentences! Didn’t like the description of women. But the mystery was real and I never figured it out.
